Bryan Davis’ Critique Group

A couple of weeks ago, I submitted a portion of the first chapter of Child of the Curse to Bryan Davis for critiquing.

Bryan Davis is one of my favorite living authors (he has my favorite style of writing of any living author which I have read today; seriously, his perfectly placed descriptions and metaphors make me so happy 🙂 ) and he runs a blog, The Author’s Chair, where he posts helpful tips for writers and does weekly critiques of aspiring authors’ work. He has written several best-selling series, including Dragons in Our Midst (a wonderful Christian fantasy story set in the real world.) You can check out his books by clicking on this sentence.

Anyways, each Friday he critiques two excerpts, and last Friday, he gave me feedback on the first little piece of my novel and another girl’s wonderful excerpt. The critique is open to all readers, so I would love for you to check it out and would really appreciate if you let me know what you thought! I really am grateful for any feedback I can get 😉 Here is a link below:

Also if you are a writer, I would highly suggest sending Bryan Davis your work. His advice has helped me a lot, and though he has a waiting list, the feedback you get is worth the wait!

God bless,
