About the Author
I absolutely hate writing biographies, and I already have two on this blog. So I’m not going to write another one. My sincerest apologies. You can read the short version on the right hand column, or you can read the long version by clicking on this text or clicking on the first page that appears when you scroll over the “About” tab.

About the Blog

I created this blog for four reasons: to glorify God, to post writing tips, to connect writers, and to share my writing journey. If you would like to read my elaboration on these points, you can click on this text or on the second page that appears when you scroll over the “About” tab.

  1. Thanks for the lovely comment, Gabrielle! Good to ‘meet’ you! I absolutely love your blog! You seem like a very interesting, fun-to-be-around person. 😀 I love that you are into debate and Creation science! Part of my high school studies revolved around a certificate program from the Institute for Creation Research, which I graduated from last year. I’m sure you’ve heard of ICR before?

    1. It is nice to “meet” you, too, Leah! I really loved your blog, too, and it is fun to find others with similar interests. I bet that course was really interesting! I’ve heard of ICR before, but I have never done anything with them. Thank you for bringing them up; I am going to see if I can incorporate something from them into my homeschool curriculum next year. 😉

    1. Grace, I’d like to look at your blog, but it says I have to have an invitation to do so. Will you please send me what I need? You can use the messaging system in our English course, if you don’t want to put it here.

  2. I love your comments about being a rebel, because if you are going to stand up for what is true and right, you have to be some kind of rebel! All of this country’s heroes have been renegades or Rebels, from Jesus Christ and general Washington to Stonewall Jackson! I also love your enthusiasm in Jesus Christ, this world needs a lot more young people to be on fire for him!

    1. Thanks, Charity! The world does need more young people to be on fire for him, and I am glad to see that you are passionate about that, too! George Washington is one of my favorite historical characters (though Jonathan Edwards has to be my favorite revolutionary figure.) Have you ever read Do Hard Things by Alex and Brett Harris? Their book talks about being a young rebel for Christ, and it is really inspiring.
Nice to meet you! Thanks for dropping by.
